I've been thinking for a while about starting a blog. I just haven't had the nerve. What would I say? What if someone I knew read it? Oh snap!
Well I got over it.
I'm Ashley. I'm a 26 year old high school English teacher, fiance to the greatest guy on planet earth, a weiner dog fanatic, and I've been the fat girl all my life.
I've tried a million times to not be that girl anymore. I always gave up. That is until a little over a year ago when with the support of the at the time boyfriend, I began my journey to a healthier, happier me!
I've lost 68 pounds and counting. I've gone from a size 24 to an 18. I have hip bones. Who knew?! More importantly though, I have energy like never before, and I'm starting to love the person looking back at me in the mirror.
This space is for me to have a record of my journey to self love! (Although I'm down for being the super hot wife too). :)
