Where Is All The Time Going!!!

This week has flown by. This month has flown by. Heck, this year has flown by!

Most of May I spent trying to get end of the year things done at school, while planning a wedding, having a bachelorette party, graduation, and trying to stay healthy. I think I was semi successful, but a few things fell by the wayside.

One thing that happened: My swag swap buddy Sarah @ Simply Sarah sent me some awesome goodies. A beginners yoga dvd, sparkly sweatyband, yoga socks, and a new book about weightlifting! They are all awesome! I've been wearing the heck out of my new headband, you better believe!

The school year ended, and my sweet coworkers threw me a surprise wedding shower. They are super sneaky! They texted me in the morning and told me they had scheduled a last minute curriculum meeting with the middle school, and I bought it hook, line, and sinker! It was SO nice and they decorated with Star Wars goodies. LOVE! :) A few of the goodies:
I started a semi last minute craft project last night. Making a sign for my two nephews who will be ring bearers to carry down the aisle. So far, it's not too shabby. I have some touching up to do on the front, have to finish the back, and then drill two holes and add ribbon for them to hold on to. I went on a Hobby Lobby spree yesterday. I could live in that store.

I think everything is coming together! This afternoon I'm heading to pick up our marriage license, and tomorrow I'm driving home with my besty Shawnanana for family bridal shower. Only 15 days until I'm a married lady. Craziness!

Crazy Weekend

I think I am now fully recovered from our crazy weekend! My future brother and sister-in-law got married on Thursday in Kentucky. Kevin and I drove to my parents house (4 hours away) Thursday night and dropped off the Camdizzle and then left from there Friday morning. It was a long trek across Missouri and half of Kentucky, but we made it there before before dark! I even had time for a quick workout in what the hotel fondly called their "fitness center." It was all of a bike, an elliptical, and a treadmill. The reception Saturday wasn't until 5, so we had a family outing to Mammoth Cave National Park.
The cave was pretty cool. Our fancy new camera wanted a little bit more light, but we still got a few decent pictures of one of the Eight Wonders of the World.

Aside from the SUPER grouchy park ranger bringing up the rear, it was a great adventure. Plus walking through the cave and up and down the stairs was a pretty good workout!

The reception was very pretty, and I met a lot of Kevin's relatives on both sides. Several of them are coming to Kansas in 45 days for our wedding too. (Excited face!!!!)

I HAD to have a picture of Kevvy and I all dressed up. Thankfully my future father-in-law obliged! :)

The weather forecast pretty much said that if we drove back to my parents house Sunday night we would blow away in a tornado never to be seen again, so when my parents agreed to keep Cami we decided to drive back the northerly route which would get us home quicker and safer. The drive home ended up being 14 hours. Ugh! I was trying not to drink too much water so we wouldn't have to stop every hour, and after 10 hours or so I was SO ready to be out of the darn car!
Middle of Missouri and DONE with being on this road trip!

My water provisions for the trip.

All in all it was a good trip. We got home late Sunday night and couldn't sleep, so that was lovely. Monday was one of those days that draggggggggggs on endlessly. Kevin mowed the yard when he got home from work, and I made this awesome sauce omelet.
Today was much better! I'm glad to be back in the swing of things food/exercise wise, but missing my puppy dog!

I FINALLY Did It!

Whooohooo!!!!!

Finally! Finally what you ask? I finally hit 70 pounds lost! Hooray! I was so excited to see that on the scale this morning. Big goal accomplished, now on to the the next one!

Kevin and I had a pretty laid back Easter weekend. We took the day off from the gym today and worked on cleaning the house and getting laundry done. We were getting a little desperate in the laundry department. Maybe in the vacuuming department as well since we got on the floor to do abs and Kevin said, "maybe I'll vacuum tomorrow." Haha oops! I've been busy... No trophy wife trophy for this future wife! :)

NSV: This t-shirt is a large and fits comfortably now! (Also admire the new phone case Kevvy got me and my sweet water cup.)
Our *cough* dinner last night was fro-yo. Not even going to lie, it was delish! I had mango sorbet and totally nailed it on the weight. 8.3 oz, heck yeah! Kevin kept questioning my decisions when I wouldn't add any fruit or other toppings to my cup. Don't fix it if it isn't broke!
Four day week for this girl at school this week. I took Friday off so we could travel to the future brother and sister-in-law's wedding reception in Kentucky. I'm pretty excited for the event AND the traveling. I'm not very well traveled, so I get excited when we go pretty much anywhere haha!

Long Time No See!

Well it's been a while! Things have been super busy in this crazy thing I call life. Prom is finally over and with only a few hiccups went very well! Kevvy and I rocked our fancy prom sponsor attire.
I bought our pictures from our awesome photographer (he's also doing our wedding) and only then realized that I wore the exact same necklace last year too haha. Here's today's example of same necklace different girl:
I'm still moving along scale wise. Goodbye plateau! You're a thing of the past. Wedding invitations are all mailed off. Hooray! We went through our second round of marriage counseling. Two down, one to go! We met with the reception coordinator at the hotel yesterday and got a few more things situated. Then we went to the gym and got our swole on.

Today's plan: brunch (not because we're fancy, we just like our sleep) cleaning house, laundry, dishes, and some more gym time. I leave you with prom pictures.
 Finished directions!
 The entryway

 All lit up!
 Dancin' fools!

 My lovely fiance supervising!
The first night. Just getting stated!

Baby We're Going Down!

My prom dress came in today!!!! I'm a prom sponsor, so I have to get semi gussied up and do my thing chaperoning. The reason I'm so excited about this is that the dress I ordered is a size 14. A FOURTEEN!!!! Holy smokes! This girl has never worn a 14. It's the tiniest bit snug, but it fits! I will be able to wear it next weekend and not feel self conscious! So excited!

Pardon the dirty guest bedroom mirror. Ain't nobody got time for cleaning mirrors! Notice the excited grin on my goofy face. :)

Today I signed up to be part of a fitness/diva swap put on by some bloggers. Excited to see what comes of it!

Fingers crossed that tomorrow I break through my plateau.

Alright I guess that's enough rambling for one night. I'm out!

100 Miles in April Challenge

Yesterday on Instagram I saw someone with the hashtag #100milesinapril. Challenge accepted! Yesterday I managed to knock out 7 miles. 7 freaking miles!!! That means I only have 93 left. Go me! I'm up to 2 so far today, and we haven't been to the gym yet.

Today is not a running day. I like keeping it to every other day with my c25k business. Calling it training just sounds weird.

It's leg day! Woot! I love leg day.

In other news, my lesson plans were totally hijacked this week when someone cyber attacked the assessment tool and took it down. Good thing I had a Plan B ready to go!

Opposite Day

I made a collage of some pictures today that I thought would be motivational for me. Well... They would probably be more motivational if I could actually see some sort of difference. There is a 34 pound difference between the two pictures I chose, but I feel like I look exactly the same. Maybe I just have a distorted body image. Who knows! I'm going to keep plugging away so I can reach my goals.

I started a dietbet today, and when I reach my goal for this one I will be in the 220s for the first time ever. I'm so ready to see that number! It's a decade closer to onederland! I would love to make it to onederland for the wedding, but I think that might be cutting it a little close. My best guess is that I'll be in the 200s by then.

Here is my collage that was not as inspiring for me as I had hoped:

Today was very much a "Keep calm and pretend it's on the  lesson plan" day. The state assessment website crashed, so I had to quickly go to plan B.

Tonight the fiance and I had a bowling date, and in a few minutes we are heading off to the gym. I'm ready to finish week 4 of C25k! :)
